Mapping Tab of the TrafficLIVE Web Service Form
Use this tab to define mapping of project/job structure, organization levels, and billable level 2 labor codes between Vision and TrafficLIVE.
The fields on this tab are enabled only after you select the Enable TrafficLIVE Web Service check box on the Configuration tab of the TrafficLIVE Web Service form.
Entering the mapping on this tab is only part of the integration configuration that you must complete before you can use the TrafficLIVE web service. For complete instructions on integration configuration see the Deltek Vision TrafficLIVE Integration Technical Guide.

WBS Mapping Section
In this section you define the mapping structure of projects/jobs between Vision and TrafficLIVE. You specify which work breakdown structure level in Vision—WBS2 (phase) or WBS3 (task)—corresponds with TrafficLIVE's first level stage and task. You can choose to map TrafficLIVE's first level stage and task or only task.
Caution: After you set up WBS mapping and then you start sending, receiving, and updating records between Vision and TrafficLIVE, it is possible to change the WBS mapping. Changing the mapping will not break future integration of timesheet records. However, changes may produce unexpected results on existing projects/jobs.
The structure on a single project/job could possibly become a mix of tasks and stages at the same WBS level as a result of changing the mapping. The main issue is that old projects/jobs could have a different WBS structure than new projects/jobs. An existing project/job could have some data at WBS2 that represents stage and some data at WBS2 that represents task.
Before you start processing and linking records between Vision and TrafficLIVE, be sure that you have completely thought through your decisions about the WBS mapping. All projects/jobs follow the defined mapping.
Organization Mapping Section
In this section, you define which level of a Vision organization corresponds with company location and department in TrafficLIVE. This allows the employee Location and Department fields in TrafficLIVE to be populated when you send employee records from Vision to TrafficLIVE. New employee records in TrafficLIVE require a department and location.
If the organization structure in Vision and TrafficLIVE is not the same and organization levels in Vision do not map to a location and/or department in TrafficLIVE, you can enter a user-defined default value for location and/or department. These values will be used for new employee records that are sent to TrafficLIVE from Vision. You also enter a user-defined default value if you do not use organizations in Vision.
Billable Level 2 Labor Code Mapping Section
In this section, you define billable and non-billable Vision level 2 labor codes for timesheet purposes. In TrafficLIVE, timesheet line items are defined as billable or non-billable, but Vision timesheet line items do not have this designation. To compensate for this difference, you must set up a level 2 labor code that is billable and a level 2 labor code that is non-billable in Vision. You do this in Vision Billable check box in .
. Then you identify which level 2 labor code is billable and non-billable in this Billable Level 2 Labor Code Mapping section. When Vision receives timesheets from TrafficLIVE, the timesheet line items in Vision are assigned the corresponding level 2 labor code to match the billable or non-billable designation on the TrafficLIVE timesheet line items. In TrafficLIVE, timesheet line items are specified as billable or not using the
